Why Zebras?

Zebras represents "Strength, Independence, Nobility, Grace, Beauty and Freedom". It represents the core values of The Zebra Xchange platform created by Oduber-Quigley Zebra images in different textures and mediums.

Zebra is the common name for various wild, horse-like odd-toed ungulates (Order Perissodactyla) of the family Equidae and the genus Equus, native to eastern and southern Africa and characterized by distinctive white and black (or brown) stripes that come in different patterns unique to each individual as is the iris to our human eyes.

There are four extant species of zebra. The plains zebra (Equus quagga), Grevy's zebra (Equus grevyi), Cape mountain zebra (Equus zebra) and the Hartmann's mountain zebra (Equus hartmannae). The Cape mountain zebra and Hartmann's mountain zebra are sometimes treated as the same species.
